At Athelstan Community Primary School we are commited to ensuring that our pupil premium children achieve the best possible outcomes. In order to do this, we review our Pupil Premium Strategy termly. Below you will find our termly strategy report.

At Athelstan School we always ensure that teaching and learning opportunities meet the needs of all our pupils. Appropriate provision is made for pupils who belong to any vulnerable group, including the needs of socially disadvantaged pupils which are effectively addressed.
Through the school’s monitoring of all its children we have effectively tracked those children who were eligible to receive the pupil premium (PP). The pupil premium funding for 2016/2017 was allocated to further close the attainment gap and to continue to raise the aspirations of our low income families. The  amount of pupil premium allocated and received for the financial year 2016/2017 was £1320 per pupil and £1900 per LAC pupil and EYPP funding of 53p per hour.
The breakdown below shows the income and expenditure breakdown  across the academic year 2016/2017. For details of expenditure and  impact please see the termly reports shown below. The termly reports detail all interventions undertaken ,extended curriculum support , and impact for pupils.
