The Eco-warriors delivered an assembly about litter and recycling.

The whole school took part in Walk to school week. Eco-warriors promoted this and collected data.
The whole participated in PE week covering a range of sports.
Some year groups had a skipping workshop.
Y6 completed Bikeability.
EYFS have been involved in a 6 week play-trition programme.
Classes took part in a mile run for Sport relief
EYFS children participated in a Balance bike workshop.
Y6 children visited London, including the houses of parliament.
KS2 have completed Fairtrade projects looking at chocolate and bananas.
Some year groups visited Bradford to look at places of worship.
The school had a visit from the Massai warriors.
We had a European language day. Children learnt Spanish and flamenco dancing.
KS2 studied the topic India, taking part in bollywood dancing and visiting an Indian restaurant.
KS1 are completing a farm to fork topic looking at the journey of the food we eat.
A Year 1,2 & 3 Gardening club is taking place to help maintain the orchard and school grounds.
Year 5/6 visited Stocksbridge where they learnt all about vegetables and how they are grown.
All years regularly visit the orchard completing a range of activities.
Whole school Science Week – Children looked at and learnt about bees.
