Thankyou for your interest in Athelstan School. There is currently a vacancy for a lunch time supervisor.

 

 

                               Midday Supervisor

 

Grade B SCP 2 Term Time only

Established Post

MSA Post 5 hours per week £12 per hour

Required from June 2024  

 

Athelstan School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Midday Supervisor. The successful applicant will be required to support pupils in the lunch hall during the lunchtime period.

Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assisting with the putting up and putting away of the tables and chairs required for lunchtime
  •  Supporting children in eating their meals
  •  Having an awareness of allergen related policies and procedures at school
  •  Supervising the children during lunchtime
  •  Ensuring the children are behaving appropriately to keep themselves and others safe

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Ensure all children are safe, happy and well behaved during their lunchtime
  • Have experience of working in a primary school environment (but this is not essential)
  • Be committed to providing the best experience for children
  • Have good verbal communication skills: be able to communicate effectively and clearly with staff and children of all ages and abilities
