Spelling Strategies

This is a useful document that shares different games and strategies you could use at home to support your Year 1 child with learning to spell and practising their weekly spellings

Word mats

By the end of Year 1, children should be able to spell these words and use them in their writing. The words will be introduced progressively during phonic sessions throughout the year.
