We require an outstanding and highly motivated Teaching Assistant SEND to join our hard-working team in this ‘good’ school’. We are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant /Midday Supervisor for 20 hours per week to support a pupil with an Education Health Care Plan, who is will be in Year One. We require a hardworking, conscientious individual to work initially within  Year One, then moving through the school providing support. The appointment will be ideal for someone who is enthusiastic and committed to becoming a valued member of our friendly team. The role will involve working with an individual pupil and small groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher and other appropriate staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Manager, and will demonstrate a flexible can-do approach with the aim of helping the pupil to continue to make progress to be the best that they can be. The ability to develop a brilliant rapport with children and nurture their self-esteem is essential; the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and a calm and understanding manner. Our school has a friendly, happy and caring atmosphere where children are nurtured to progress in a supportive learning environment.

Appropriate training and support can be provided. We welcome applications from those with experience and those new to the role.
