Teaching Assistant
GTA 15 - 30 hours per week (Monday – Friday) Days and Hours are negotiable
Established post Required from April 2025
We require an outstanding and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team in our busy ‘outstanding’ Early Years unit. The post can be worked from 15-30 hours per week, working across the EYFS classrooms under the direction of the class teachers. Hours and days of work can be negotiated. The post will involve supporting all children across the early years, this may include supporting some children with SEND. Athelstan School is a friendly, warm and welcoming school, there is a strong family and inclusive ethos, where teamwork is highly valued and the role of the individual within the team is respected. Candidates should be committed to following a creative, child centred approach to teaching and learning and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You would work alongside an established motivated and supportive Early Years Team, led by our Early Years Manager.
