Sleep is a natural behaviour that is part of everyone’s life. Eventually, no matter how hard we fight it, we will want to sleep for at least part of every 24 hours. Sleep is dynamic. It is not a period of complete and total rest; our brains and bodies are doing amazing things.
Along with a healthy diet and getting enough exercise, the right amount of good quality sleep is one of the most important factors in feeling good. It’s one of the simplest things you can help your child to manage and will lead to better moods, improved concentration and the energy to do all the things they enjoy. It also helps their physical health.
